If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting Angie, you most likely loved her. Not only is she extremely talented working with hair in ways that even Pinterest would bow down to, but she is kind and genuine. After I met Angie years ago, I liked her right away. Her laugh was contagious and her knowledge blew my mind. She is one of those people who can recommend products with such ease and confidence. Especially if you are in need of Neuma (if you don't know Neuma products, look em up!) The thing about Angie is, she doesn't "sell" things to sell them. You not walk out of the salon with a product she couldn't stand behind or genuinely believed you could benefit from. She has intergrity beyond words and that keeps her long list of clients coming back (and some on lists, waiting to get in)!
Angie is born and raised in Ballston Spa, NY and is a staple in the industry with over 16 years of experience. She prides herself on being the "go-to" for blondes. Don't worry ladies she will tend to all hair colors but once blondes find her they will NEVER leave her. She can do highlights and tones to hair that look like they are all your own, it's truly an art. Angie's love for knowledge has lead her to train under Philip Wilson, Frederick Fekkai and Paul Mitchel. She is not a stranger to NYC and California to find the right classes to build her career.
Now you know that Angie is an all around amazing stylist, let's talk BRIDAL. I have never seen a star in the sky shine as bright as Angie does on a wedding. Her calm, professional attitude can handle any situation or personality with ease. Her fingers move faster than anything I have seen...they twist, bend and fluff hair into a bride's dream style. Angie has been my partner in weddings for a long time. The flow and experience we bring is what I strive to create with all of our artist teams.
On a rare weekend off, you will find Angie on the boat in Sacandaga Lake with her hunky boyfriend and dogs or baking up something incredible that makes my jeans feel tight just thinking about it. If Angie sounds like your kind of artist, don't wait to book an appointment with her salon Haven in Ballston Spa, NY, as I mentioned she has an evening wait list!
Lauren: What made you want to be a part of True Beauty Company?
Angie: First and foremost, I love Lauren's passion on weddings. I love her as an individual, how organized she is and the clientele we have. I enjoy doing wedding hair and being a part of a bride's day. It is such a happy time and I am a softy when it comes to love!
Lauren: What is your favorite wedding experience?
Angie: My favorite wedding experience was at the Inn at Erlowest, which is one of my favorite venues on Lake George. The groom showed up on a cigarette boat for their first look. I almost fell over with the love and excitement. I remember to this day that the bridesmaids were in blue and the bride wore a lace dress with blingy shoes and boho inspired hair.
Lauren: What inspires you?
Angie: My inspiration just comes from my love of doing hair. I love making women feel beautiful. I'm inspired to get up and work everyday doing what I love with the support of my boyfriend, my family and friends. I have so many professionals I look up to as well, like Philip Wilson and Martin Parsons.
Lauren: What is in your beauty bag?
Angie: Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer, bronzer, blush and around the clock eyeliner. I couldn't live without my Neuma purple shampoo (where my blondes at!) and Color Proof anti-aging serum.
