Mia is a NYS Licensed Cosmetologist specializing in bridal, special event and photoshoot hair and makeup. She is as sweet as she is talented and her drive and willingness to listen and learn were one of the first things I noticed about her. She has a deep passion for her industry and is quite literally living her dream as she has wanted to be a Makeup Artist since she was 12 years old. Mia will really listen to your concerns and thoughts, and together, you will create the absolutely perfect hair and makeup look for you!
Mia is constantly looking to grow as an artist and expand her education in her industry. She has attended classes from LA to NYC with Kim Kardasian's makeup artist, Mario Dedavonavic, and Pro Makeup Artists Dannesa Myricks and James Vincent. She has also taken classes on bridal hair styling from the professionals at ColorProof and Moroccan Oil. She is on top of every trend that hits Instagram and Pinterest and is the one on our team that always keeps us in the know with the latest tips and tricks.
Expanding on her love of education in the industry, Mia has a blog on all things hair, makeup and skincare. If you don't already, you have to follow her posts on her website where she shares everything from behind the scenes tips, to DIY hair masks to the right skin care for you.
When Mia isn’t on a wedding with us, you can find her at Haven Salon offering hair styling and makeup for any and all special events, headshots and photoshoots. She is a blowout master and can create some of the most natural and simplistic to the most intricate and glam hair and makeup you’ve ever seen. She also teaches customized, one-on-one makeup lessons where she helps you pick out the perfect products, brushes and techniques for your everyday style. She even helped teach some of our 2020 brides how to do their own hair and makeup for their weddings when having a artist on their special day wasn’t an option.
In her free time, you can catch Mia spending time with her friends and family and hanging out at the races being a spokeswoman at Albany-Saratoga Speedway, her family’s business. Mia would love to be your go to for all of your beauty needs from everyday to the most special days!
