Meet your artist: Angie Barnes

If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Angie, you most definitely fell in love with her immediately. Not only does she have such extreme talent working with hair in ways that even Pinterest would bow down to, she is kind, genuine and instantly your new bff.

I met Angie years ago and immediately loved her on the spot. Her laugh was contagious and her knowledge blew my mind. She is one of those stylists who can recommend exactly what you need style and product wise with such ease and confidence. The thing about Angie is, she doesn't "sell" things to sell them. You do not walk out of the salon with a product she couldn't stand behind or genuinely believed you could benefit from. She has integrity beyond words and that keeps her long list of clients coming back (and some on lists, waiting to get in)!

Angie is born and raised in Ballston Spa, NY and has been a staple in the industry for over 20 years. She is the proud owner of Haven Salon where she services her insanely loyal clientele as a master in cut and color. She prides herself on being the "go-to" for blondes and once a blonde finds her they NEVER leave her. She can do highlights and tones to hair that look like they are all your own, it's truly an art. Not to mention, she’s fast!

Angie's 20 years under her belt has lead her to a continuous love for knowledge and education. She has trained under Philip Wilson, Frederick Fekkai, Paul Mitchel, Aveda and Neuma. She is no stranger to traveling near and far for the right education and has traveled from NYC all the way to California.

Now you know that Angie is an all around amazing stylist, let's talk BRIDAL. I have never seen a star in the sky shine as bright as Angie does on a wedding. Her calm, professional attitude can handle any situation or personality with ease. Her fingers move faster than anything I have seen...they twist, bend and fluff hair into a bride's dream style. Angie has been my partner in weddings for a long time. The flow and experience we bring is what I strive to create with all of our artist teams.

On a rare weekend off, you will find Angie on the boat in Sacandaga Lake with her hunky husband and dogs. Or baking up something incredible that makes my jeans feel tight just thinking about it! If Angie sounds like your kind of artist, run, don’t walk to book an appointment with her at Haven or for your wedding day beauty!
